That's the Oregon GTG in October, Dave just self appointed himself as the coordinator for that one too.

Drill school is three months long I believe so October is out of the question regardless.

Two years but can be extended up to six months which is happening to some folks now because of the shortage.

Man, that's crazy! You will be in my neck of the woods, though, so if you can get some free time, I'm there! Ft Jackson is about 1.75 hrs from my house. Will you be moving there or will you be reasigned to another place after school?

Not that great, I'm a very mellow, quite guy. This will definitely be a challenge for me.

EDIT: I do have most of his lines memorized in that movie however.

Relaxen Jackson is where I went to basic; I still have fond memories of being in the leaning rest on top of ant hills...fire ants that is.

Even with the fire ants and flying cockroaches, I'd say Jackson is better than Lost in the woods.

I feel for you man, I think I might have preferred redeployment over being called up to be a DS.
