So you would be against the set-up of all three aligned at a lower point and angled appropriately upwards towards ears...with eye level being ~1/3 up the screen?

I personally wouldn't do it that way, no.

There's no reason to compromise the L/R speakers just to align all your tweeters.

By putting them below where they should be just so that they're in line with the center.
