I am looking to buy a new receiver for my home. Here is a list of what I have now:
Sony SXRD 60A2020 T.V.
Klipsch Quintet II 5 speaker system.
Velodyne DSP-12B 12" sub (soon to be delivered).
Oppo DV-981HD DVD player. Most likely a Blu-ray DVD player within a year or two.
Motorola 6416 HD Cable Box.
My T.V room is apx 18x18.
Now I am plannning on upgrading my 6 year old HTIB Sony receiver. I am thinking that the Onkyo 605 would be my best option with what I have. I have read favorable reviews on this model. I would like to spend less than $750 if possible to get the best match for what I currently own. Any other suggestions? I live in Canada but I only have a 40 minute drive if I need to buy it in the U.S. Thanks in advance for any input.
