How bout pic of you with your system

Lets see a picture of you with the main system to give a sense of scale on how big those speakers are.

Wow, that's quite a collection! I was wondering though, didn't you have a bunch of Classe gear? I recognize most of the stuff, but what are the bookshelves on the really nice Billy Bags stands? I know one pair in the pics are some Onix Ref. 1s, but I'm not sure about the others.

Either way, it looks amazing.

The Classe pieces and the TACT TCSMKII/ADC6 aren't set up yet. There are quite a few other pieces coming (more subwoofers, speakers, souces, etc.), but I'm trying to pace myself.

The speakers in the EAR V20 system that you see on the Billy Bags stands are Merlin TSM-MXs. The Onix Ref.1s are onmy desk in that same room but I don't have a picture of that.

Boston Mark.... those Epiphany's are 6 feet tall. I'm 5'9".

I just noticed the Ref 1s in the corner of one picture showing your headphone amps (hey!) and that whole setup. Oh, and do you have the new Rocket sub coming your way?

I am envious

You have some awesome setups there sleestack. My favorite is the one with the Epiphany speakers. The whole setup looks impressive, I would love to hear how it sounds. I only got to hear a sweet set up like that once. A stereo shop in Boston has a listening room set up with Dali Megaline Speakers powered by Crown Mono block amps (2 for each speaker). Sometimes its hard to imagine the scale. Do speakers that tall assist with the imaging? The Dali's were very tall (8 or 9 ft), and I felt like I was actually at the club and not listening to a system at all. It was a female blues singer, and if I shut my eyes, I could swear she was right there singing. I love that "live" sound that great speakers can create, and I was wondering if the 6 to 9 feet of drivers helped to recreate the spatial field.

Thank you for sharing your system, if I hit megabucks, Ill seek out your advice on what to get next.

Yes, I have the UFW12, Strata Minis and their new unreleased tube amp coming my way.

You can see the Ref.1s peaking out of the corner next to my MPX3 amp. I might have to make that one up to you a different way.... as soon as I got my bigger headphone amp in last week, I had a dozen e-mails from people who are dying to buy my old one. I'll shoot a piece of freebie gear your way in the near future. What do you have/don't have?

Some very impressive gear and systems you got there. Those Epiphany's are some pretty sweet looking speakers. Did you consider that mcintosh version of those at all before purchasing those. Just curious. Happy Listening.

No. I did do quite a bit of speaker hunting before settling on the Epiphanies, but never checked out any McIntosh line array speakers. I love the Epiphanies and am currently contemplating picking up 3 more for a 5.1 audio setup.

TACT TCS MKII and ADC6

Few quick pictures. Nothing visually exciting, but there is magic in those boxes:

TCSMKII. I could have done with more controls on the front panel... but at least there is an enormous voume dial:

The very cool ADC6... room corrected and bass controlled SACDs:
