Sold my Oppo for $120 and bought a Toshiba A2 for $130!!!!!!!!!

Hello HD!!

The oppo was once touted as the player to 'hold you over' until the HD war settles. But now with the prices that Toshiba A2's are selling for on ebay, it looks like HD-DVD's will hold me over until there is a clear winner. And because the oppo holds its value so well, it only cost me $10 +shipping!!

it came with a couple movies to try out, they are not really my style: Rundown, and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. I might sell those after seeing how HD looks on my television.

IMO you scored a good deal! One of the members(GlocksRock) here is selling a 971 and there has been no takers. Maybe ebay is the way to go.

I bet you could get $100 for it. Even though the 971 is 'better' than the 970, it does not have HDMI, which will turn off some buyers. On ebay, I see them going for $80-$110 with very few of them not selling. I would go for it.

People here are likely moving up to a HDM player from either one or both formats. But that is an excellent CD player for $75.

It's not for sale here anymore, it's been oficially listed on ebay, so anyone that has interest in purchasing it may now bid for it on ebay. I'm user tonsoguns420 on Ebay. Hopefully I'll be able to sell it for enough to cover the cost of my $99 walmart HD-A2, if I make more than that it will just be gravy!
