So Called Music Awards

Its it me or do the music awards in the states suck.I agree with the Canadian music awards winners . July Talk + Ben Caplan have earned some Canadian awards . But all the American artist I listen too never win or even get mentioned. I dare anyone to listen to Lake Street Dive and not say that Rachel Price should own best female artist "or at least best female vocalist" for as long as she can still sing? I think Music awards in the states is all politics and B/S And have not watched them for at least 5 years now

Wish I could disagree, but I can't. A lot of lobbying by record labels goes on and there is a lot of influence via money/pressure/politics, etc. I often disagree with the winners. But I vote by listening to those artists that I enjoy. I also vote by not watching the award shows.
