Sorry if this is a redundant topic but I was reading an article on the Yamaha DVD C 750, which I am auditioning again now...Ray says to set the speakers in the DVD player to Large because the cross over is too high at 120hz. Has anybody else tried this and is it a good recommendation?? i also read another review that said the crossover was set around 90hz.
Can anyone give me any tips on the 750...anyone have one they can share experiences?
BTW, still waiting for anyone to answer my question on where the crossover is set on the new DVD S657. It's definately a different sound than the C750 with analog. Louder, brighter, not as much bass...almost too "tinny" sounding compared to the 750. Ray said the outputs could be louder. i think the crossover may be lower too.
