Small monitors for PC

I'm thinking about upgrading my PC speakers. I do some gaming, but mostly I use them for previewing music before I burn to CD. I download a lot of Grateful Dead and WSP shows and I'm tired of wasting time and blanks on below par sounding shows. So the speakers should be fairly neutral. I have just started looking at the Athena from audioadvisor, any comments?

Unless you need a lot of bass, I'd suggest a pair of these. No external amp needed, and good looks and sound to boot.

Are you looking for powered pc speakers with a sub, or small bookshelves powered through your receiver?

Either. I have an old amp and preamp which I could use, but powered would be nice.
