SirXM [car radio] is horrible. How to stream music to electric Porsche?

the DJs on sirisXM are driving me off the road... talk, talk, talk, all day - little music all talk.

amazon has a service where you pick albums and it play with no DJs talking and no annoying commercials...

I need to push [stream??] this music from a samsung pocket phone to the radio burried in the dash.

what is "streaming" ...is that where you connect the samsung pocket telephone to your car without using any wires...?

what if you can't use wireless?

what is bluetooth? I have a dozen bluetooth devices [streamers, convertors, telephones, transmitters, treceivers sitting in a large box in my garage. I have NEVER been able to connect a single bluetooth device to anything.

why don't makers of the garbage include detailed instruction on how tp connewct bluetooth devices?

The "Latest Activities" showed that he wrote about awful sound in his expensive Porsche, until he edited his post as to hide his low financial capital. I just wish that the salary of one my private chauffeurs where as inexpensive as a Porsche, at least for a year, sigh.

An electric car is just a one time upfront cost with some yearly maintenance that can be tax off loaded to the small people. A half-way decent private chauffeur's salary is a recurrent cost that is another more serious matter, especially if you, like me, have many of them in employment.

He clearly has come to the wrong forum if he thinks that an electric Porsche is expensive.

Don't know about the chauffeur thing, but if I had a Porsche again I'd probably not let anyone else even drive it.

If you go that way you should have the Porsche custom made with a distinct look just so other people knows that the vehicle is way above their means. Whatever other reason is there with all the pot holes in the roads? It's even getting much harder to contribute to officers pension funds to let me go for driving above the speed limit

My 59 VW had no working radio. It was impossible to find a 6 volt replacement. It also had no fuel gauge and I used a dip stick. And you know what, I loved it!

It's a very under-appreciated car. I know someone who appreciates them so much that he & his brother owned eight of them at one time.

My suggestion for the OP: get a more modest vehicle that's compatible with the crappy SiriusXM audio.

It works for me.

I couldn't imagine driving one of those unless I was on a closed road and there was no chance of other vehicles being around. I'm pretty sure a Sparrow could fly through the windshield on an Isetta.

I had a Mazda RX-7 until some turd stole it and it was a lot of fun to drive on remote, hilly roads. That was before people lost their minds WRT driving and I felt relatively safe in it. It was so low that think it could have passed under a semi trailer, if needed. but now I drive a white Chevy Astro cargo van most of the time and I don't even feel safe in that with the way people drive 70 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, 100 MPH on the freeway and weave through the lanes in heavy traffic. I drove a full-size Chevy pickup truck for several years and people would try to merge into my lane, where I was driving, without noticing that another vehicle was there.

Does he host some kind of Deep Tracks show? I didn't recognize his name, but looked it up on Wiki- if he still sounds like he's on MTV, I can confidently say that I will never intentionally listen to his show.

I had XM until they killed one of my favorite channels and merged with Surius- the sound quality of Sirius sucked and I refuse to listen to crappy sound while I drive. It's not that the stereo was great, but it sounded so bad I couldn't deal with it. Then, they jacked up my monthly rate and that was the dagger.

In all seriousness, it'll be VERY interesting when the chargers are more widely available. The "short range" argument will finally be moot. I just hope all the EVs will adopt a standard charger. Last thing we want is a new cell phone charger adapter issue.

sirisXM , no issues at all, its better than the FM radio in my area.. At least I can pick the channel and not listen to crap on the others.
