Hi,

This is my first post on this forum. I have a used NED C-320BEE amplifier that I inherited form someone. I have no use for it so I want to sell it but I need to figure out if it's fully functional. What is the simplest way to completely test an amp? That is, what is the minimal set of additional equipment that I would need, and is there a standard procedure for amp testing?

Thanks much!

"Completely" test an amp"? Take it to someone who already has the equipment. It's too expensive to buy any of this stuff for testing one amp.

The easiest way to test an amp is to connect a source and speakers to it and listen- if it sounds good over a long time period, it should be OK. By "a long period", I mean at least 8 hours. That should give it a chance to get up to typical operating temperatures and if it has any thermal issues, they'll usually show up.
