Shure SRH840's vs Sennheiser HD380 Pro

Hi. I'm looking between two headphones to get: the Shure SRH840 and the Sennheiser HD380 Pro. I'm looking for comfort, build quality, sound quality, and somewhat balance with a warm tone. The headphones will be driven by a headphone amp (the Fiio E7) so I would like to know which one would benefit most from it. Which one should I get?

That is hard to answer. Everybody's ears are different. If you can find a dealer that will let you try them out, that will far and away pick the winner. In fact, I hate the way that headphones are marketed these days. There is no kiosk with headphones playing so you can listen to them before hand.

That's because sellers don't want to be sued by any customers that pick up a case of the creeping crud or tiny but interesting insect life off of public headphone.
