Do you not like what you have? Do you like the Klipsch better? Really all that matters is whether you have found something you like better and can justify paying the money for it. If you're at it and interested in auditioning, you might as well go out and listen to as many speakers locally as you can.

Just remember that, once started, upgrading never ends. When you get something new, it is wonderful and really enjoyable, for a while. Eventually, you start wanting something else. My conclusion is that it is really newness itself that we are after, rather than "better". (Everyone loves that "new car smell".)
I try to make myself spend my $ on music and movies instead, but I know it is just a matter of time before the upgrade bug strikes again.
FWIW, I am not a fan of Klipsch Synergy. I think you can do better at the price. (Check out Athena AS series, Infinity Primus, or the ID brands for starters.)

If your really serious about a speaker upgrade, please include a budget and the types of speakers your looking at(floors only or bookshelf too).:) Lastly most members will help with advice but can't make that decsion for you.:)

I'd say there's certainly some of that, although each step I've taken has been a distinct improvement. I'd say a lot of people want to change something when they change components as well, although there are certainly people that just want something new.

...you might want to include some room dimensions and any WAF issues as well. Wives and girlfriends often seem to have very bizarre reactions to large, ominous looking speakers! Go figure!
