Shopping for a New Receiver Multi-Room/Zone

I guess I'm always shooting myself in the foot trying to do things a bit differently. A generation or two ago in A/V receivers, switching to multiple speaker setups seemed commonplace. Now I'm struggling to find what I need.

This is my wish list for a new receiver.
7.1
60W/Ch min
3 HDMI 1.3 inputs with audio extraction (not simple pass thru), 1 output
Preamp out for a minimum of SW and a front channel pair.
Speaker switching to allow simple stereo thru the preamp outs and 5/7 channel through the speaker/SW outs

All I am trying to accomplish is the ability to listen to FM or CD through one set of speakers with an outboard power amp and SAT, HDDVD or Upconverting VCR/DVD combo through a separate 7.1 speaker/SW set.

I've been scouring the forums and manufacturers manual downloads and have not found anything that does the job. Does anyone have any suggestions or am I doomed to running two separate receivers?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I am not exactly sure what you are asking but it sounds like something any multi-zone AVR will do.
