Onkyo RZ70, Sony X90L.
This is what I want to do. I have a PS5 and a Series X. I hate constantly having to go into the Sony Menu and changing my EARC input (3) to VRR for gaming and then back to DV for Streaming. Apple TV > Streaming Input (Onkyo). PS5 and Xbox > Game and Sat input (Onkyo). Onkyo Main HDMI out > Sony HDMI 3(EARC) Input. Onkyo Sub HDMI out > Sony HDMI input 4. Sony HDMI input 3 is Dolby VIsion and HDMI 4 is Vrr,
My goal was to simply switch TV inputs to 4 when gaming and 3 when streaming. This was to avoid going in the menu and switch between VRR and DV every time.
Well, this is not working. Input 3 on the TV only works and when I switch to input 4 I get a blank screen. Ive even played with the main+sub, main, sub hdmi outputs on the Onkyo to no avail.
Any help appreciated.
