I came across these on Ebay..seller is in Australia. Never heard of Selby though, has anybody?? Plugs seem to be of decent quality and even with shipping price is good too.

Don't know of them. But, why deal with a seller so far away? Shipping must be expensive?

shipping is reasonable and the seller runs "specials" every now & then. There are several photos of the plugs, connection of the wire is by 2 screws inside the sleeve which I've seen elsewhere...everything is gold plated. I do like the GLS plugs with the "sure grip" method. Of course I shouldn't be so lazy and should go blow the dust off my solder gun.

Speaking of locking banana plugs, I saw some today at a local AV shop (Audio Video Unlimited) and they wanted 80 bucks for 4 plugs! FTW!

Why must everything be so bloody expensive in Canaduh?

Have you looked at the banana plug on monoprice.com? $2/pr and they are wrong the are not solder types. I've used them with 12ga but they look like they might handle 10ga.

excellent buy!!

Thanx sholling!! I would have preferred that the plugs are not totally metal but these are such a good buy I think I'll compromise....and I'll have my solder gun ready just in case(although others alsohave also said they can be used as twist on).

Now to hijack my own thread, and it's sorta off topic but while I'm running all my wires under the house and through my basement I think I need something to "junction" the 1 incoming relephone line to distribute out to 4 handsets...is there such a thing as a telephone junction box?
