seeking urgent pioneer assistance

i have pionner d914 receiver and its cooler doesnt work at low volumes, only works around -27db.
and for this its getting kinda hot.
do you know if this is ok or not?
normal for receivers getting hot?
i have a proper setup.

Should be fine. Most A/V receivers run a little hot. It will shut off if it is getting too hot.

just make sure it has room on all sides and it will be fine most likely. most receivers run hot. some run really hot.
