Seeking advice regarding Hometheater speakers

Hi all! Here's my current situation:

I currently own a Klipsch 12 inch sub. I'm looking to spend between $500-$1000 for the rest of the speakers. (fronts, center, surrounds)

So, what do you guys recommend in that price range?

I was looking at the CVHD 5.1 by Cerwin vega. Although that already comes with a sub. Would the sound be favorable if i included my klipsch sub in the mix and used both subs together? And whats the best way to do that?

Thanks for the quick response mazersteven. I havent got any size restrictions. I'm planning on powering the speakers with one of the new pioneer elite recievers. (93 or 94) I will be primarily using the speakers for movies. (70% movies/ 30% music)

Thanks alot. The av123 products look REALLY nice. If I wanted drop my price range down a little bit how about the Polk Audio RM20 Speaker System VS Cerwin Vega CVHD Series? And how would their sound compare versus some of the products you brought up?

HT Budget

If you want to adjust your budget, get a receiver that costs $4-500 (Onkyo 605 or Yamaha RX-V661) instead of $1k. The speakers and the room are the most important audio components of your system so budget accordingly.

They are $400 a pair, but can be had for less. So 4 of these plus the center will put you right about $1000 bucks.

Yes, and very pretty to boot.

The Cerwin Vega system was reviewed here recently and the only good point about it, at least what I got from the review on sound, was the subwoofer's ability to go loud. Other than that the Ushers or Onix X-series would walk all over most any sub-sat system.

This would be more fitting than the HT-1, as it is from the same series as the S-520 and costs $40 less than the HT-1.

Onto the next question-- How would the Swan Diva 5.1's compare with the Ushers and X-mtms?

I would expect that the Swans sound quality would be better. But sound is purely subjective to the individual listener.
