seating riser

Would anybody have a link to a DIY site that would detail the construction of a seating riser? I would appreciate any help that anyone could provide.

Riser

Depending on the height you want, you could create a 2x4 or 2x6 frame with plywood on top. Cover with carpet or other material to match your room.
