From reading your other posts about the DCX you have to use an external amp to be able to use the DCX with your mains. I am using my AVR, and probably will be for the foreseeable future. Would you still recommend the DCX over the others?
With most receivers, you must use external amplification if you want to use ANY external processing unit, DCX included.

Where is the best place to pick-up a DCX?
In the USA, I prefer www.zzounds.com because they offer extraordinary customer service. BTW, they will price match virtually anyone if you find a lower price for them to beat. I never pay the amount listed on their site.

I completely agree. These guys are awesome to work with. They will meet or beat nearly any price as well.

I will stand behind what both of them say about zzsounds, but you can also pick one up with the live.com deal for 25% off, and I found one here on ebay with a buy it now price of $224.00 shipped - 25%, I think thats a wicked deal.

I'm going to use two of these in Parts Express 2.0cu/ft enclosures powered by a Behringer EP2500. If I'm not satisfied with two I will get two more.;)
He he, I really like that attitude Matt

And yes....... Ideally, wouldn't it be the best to have 4 subs, two in the lower corner and then two.... way up....... in the ceiling corners in order to get the most out of room gain..... but how the he..... could you fix two 100lbs sub's to the ceiling corners.....

I'm waiting on my XLR cable to show up and I'm going to get the boxes cut tomorrow. Hopefully next week I'll be able to give a brief review of them.
