The mayor of Detroit says that downtown is making a comeback.

I live in Michigan & the company i work for has offices in Detroit,my old office used to be right off Gratiot & MT Elliot which is right where that video was shot,i spent 11 years working in that war zone, im glad i transfered out of that hole,now im in Lake Orion & its much nicer

The reason i posted it was to show the real Detroit ,not the Detroit that King Kwami Kilpatrick wants everybody to see.

I wish i could find a video of all the wild Phesants running all around downtown Detroit,so much urban plight has taken place there over the last 2 decades its now safer for them to live in the city as oposed to the woods.

Watching him on tv is like watching the Emmy Awards,nothing but the best clothes,cars for him & his family,cell phones for everybody,all at city expense.

If all anybody see's is the Detroit showed durring sports events than Kawami's media machine is working.

Detroit is perhaps the only big city where the houses are cheaper than the cars.

Used to live in SE Michigan for about 7 years, but only ventured into Detroit maybe 6 times total. I'm a pretty optimistic person, I think, but Detroit...well, I've never seen a city so badly in need of a natural disaster.

I remember when they put Casinos in...Riiiggghhht, that's gonna help. Sheesh.
