Hello, I am doing fine thank you. My Mom is gradually getting her strength back as the surgery was very hard on her. :(:( I really don't think she could take it again. Right now, my Mom is ascertaining whether or not she is going to take chemo OR radiation. Her family doctor wants her to do radiation as does her heart doctor. Chances are, that will be what she does. Otherwise, she has been in good spirits. I am so proud of her bravery as she has never been known to be a quitter.

Thank you so much for caring enough to ask. There are a lot of good people here that has offered me their support. For that, I am forever grateful. Prayer is a very powerful tool that can transcend lives imho. Hope all is well for you and Major as the storm has dropped a large amount of rain. Not sure if that happened in your area or not. I just hope and pray all of the people in the path of the storm are safe and sound.

Cheers,

Phil
Thank you for the update. You are going to be playing a VERY important role in keeping her sprits up. She may appear to be ok on the outside but on the inside she is probably very scared. It is life’s difficulties and the trials we go through that makes us strong in spirit and endow us with the will to surmount the insurmountable and to climb the highest mountains. Hang in there... modern medicine is wonderful. I will continue to pray for you both.

The major and I had no problems with flooding like others in the area. We were very fortunate. My friend was not so fortunate, she had to evacuate her home, fish were swimming around her feet.

Thank you Yvette for your kind words. My Mom and me both really appreciate it. Just wished you really knew how much it means to me. The same goes for all the others here that offered their support.

I am also very glad that you and the Maj have NOT had any flooding problems. Some people are reporting seeing large alligators in flooded areas.:eek: That is scary and quite dangerous. Not to mention snakes, critters, and etc. Just hope and pray nobody gets hurt. Likewise, sorry to hear about your friend. Hopefully, she will pull through herself. I will keep them all in my prayers as well.

Cheers,

Phil
