Scam accounts

There are sooooo many scam accounts on this site.

I posted maybe a week ago I was looking for a amp, to buy.

I have been direct messaged by accounts that are 1 day old. Saying email my brother or friend. He sells amps.

No joke ,I asked one guy what kind of amp he had, and he sent me a car amplifier. I reported his account, but I've been hit up by like 4 separate accounts.

Please stay vigilant if you are buying used gear on here. And definitely look to see when their account was created

Yep, like any other website there's gonna be fake account's, and or spam accounts. That's on every audio forum, people who work a site post up link's to other sites that sell gear. They usually pretty easy to spot. Like for instance, they'll open a new profile and go, I have this in my setup, than they post up a bunch of link's of gear.
Some members will jump in and they'll start posting up link's or they have an agenda. Subs are a big one, some may even work for those companies. They're at work it's a slow day so they jump on their cellphone's jump on AH, AVS Polk forum and so on. I've seen it first hand at a audio/video store. Employees on their cell posting up on sites trying to drum up sales. Here's the thing, they are on here posting up link's to sites when it's obvious they know how to use the internet to Google and research for themselves so there you go.
