SC-25 vs VSX-23THX vs newer ones to be out this year

I have an opportunity to get myself a SC-25 for a great price... I'm wondering if this is really that good of a receiver to be more expensive than the VSX-23 or VSX-21 receiver. I'm planning to run the Kef iQ series of speakers with this receiver. I also know that they are coming out with a new set of elite receivers later this year.

Getting back to the SC-25 vs VSX-21 speakers, the main difference I see is ICEpower® Direct Energy HD vs ICEpower® Direct Energy HD. I know the SC has more power but would I really notice it that much?

About the newer ones, I'm really not interested in 3D technology at all. Is there any other reason that I would want 1.4 HDMI technology?

Im not an expert and I havent heard either of these, however I myself have been looking at these 2 receivers and cost is an issue for me though.
But, from what I've read the sc-25 with its ICEpower is amazing.
thats why im trying to find a deal on it myself. let me know if you find this deal online?

if i had the money though, the new marantz 7005 thats coming out this summer looks pretty sweet.

if your on a budget, check out getting the Pio SC-05 or the 07. pretty much the same thing as the SC25/27 with a few minor changes....I just ordered the SC07 myself...save lots of money by going that route
