integrated amp speaker A main speakers, speaker B Axiom EP500
headphone out (main speakers have no auto mute function when headphone is plugged in)
the integrated amp itself is pretty big ... i want to get rid of it
option 1
get a Behringer MON800

out to TCA Gizmo (integrated amp with sub out)
total cost = 60 bucks
pros:
cheaper
i get to use the gizmo
cons:
no auto mute main speakers when plugging headphones
two items to turn on (MON800 and gizmo) unless the CUE OUT on the MON800 is online even when the MON 800 is off
option 2
get a Behringer MS40

total cost:100-150bucks
pros:
only one thing to turn on (MS40)
auto mute (i think)
cons:
no output to subwoofer (axiom ep500 only has speaker level ins and LFE in)
a bit more expensive
i lose the polk main speakers
questions:
1) you think the MON800 "through" output has a signal if the MON800 is off?
2) which option should i choose?
