hey all,
I'm anxiously awaiting my new Hsu Ventriloquist system and would love to mount the main R and L front speakers on the sides of my 32" TV. Since I don't really want to bolt them right onto the plastic, is there a mount kit available for hanging the speakers on the sides (near the top) of a TV?

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Just getting back from CES, I've not yet seen any generic speaker mounting kit for hanging speakers to the sides of a CRT. There may not be one because it's way too hard to design a mount that would look nice enough to actually work with the wide variety of shapes and sizes of all the small speakers available. There would also be big liability issues with such a device. Another reason the accessory manufacturers might shy away.

Remember too that the recommendation for left-right satellite speaker spread from center is from 22.5 degrees (minimum, as seen at Skywalker Ranch) to 30 degrees (the ITU recommendation).

My Infinity Modulus system had a $150 accessory hanging bracket which allowed the speakers to get out to 20 degrees at most from only an 8 foot distance. I gather from the time that I designed for Infinity that this accessory was not too successful. The wives still didn't like the look.
