SAN ANDREAS Quake at the dam. LFE.1 peak hold.

(Gregg Landaker), of Star Trek 1, Empire, Raiders, The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar and now, San Andreas.

I like the score sounding in louder when the dam washes away, chilling low vibrations.

^ Interstellar (2014) chapter 5 stay to 6 launch LFE.1 peak hold.

^ Interstellar (2014) chapter 9 wormhole LFE.1 peak hold.

The dialouge level of Interstellar thou I can understand it clearly vs San Andreas where the dialouge track is louder and clearer.

^ Interstellar (2014) chapter 10 tsunami wave LFE.1 peak hold.

^ Interstellar (2014) chapter 17 black hole LFE.1 peak hold.

I like the few seconds table rumble of the Earthquake low frequency seismic waves arriving at L.A. with the table shaking. It reminds of STAR TREK VI THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTY (1991) feeling the low vibration in vast vacuum of space and the tea-cup vibrating around on the table.

I like the vibration I played it many times before the big Earthquake stuck!

A sense of below surround.

Chapter 5, with my own matrix below surround switched on for the stereo side surrounds while stereo rear back surrounds does it's own thing.

I get the sense feeling looking downwards when Emma, leaping across concrete slaps falling away and one that drops a fair bit with jolt that I can sense underneath the seats.

This film mix even has the kitchen sink thrown in.

I really sense the oscar nominations for the sound effects editors and mixes for this, firecracker of a film.

Whoa! That's a close one!!

Anyone noticed when the car drops down a level due to the large chunk of concrete that broke the floor and car drives down the broken slap and slams into a wall!

No airbags was activated. Blimey that car would be unsafe with a normal crash. Airbags eject outwards at around 130db, I don't think I want a hear 130db airbag exploding or be filled with air within m/s in front of my face.
