Hi,

I'm building a new HT and I would like to run some questions through this forum since I'm undecided as to whether building a HT system from scratch or building an all-in-one system.

The thing is that the other day I could listen for a minute a Samsung HT-E6750W playing a scene of the last Die Hard franchise movie and, to my admittedly uneducated ears, sounded quite well. Since that I am interested in buying a HT-F9750W, top of the line model, which got some quite good reviews. The problem is that I have heard from some people and saw some comments indicating that Samsung is a no go for receivers and speakers and I then I started wondering if I would be better with a Denon receiver (thinking on AVR2113), Pioneer FS-52 front speakers, may be Onkyo SKS-HT870 speaker set...

I really liked how the samsung sounded for the little time I could listen to it and certainly the gallium nitride + valve thing has got me intrigued. Sound is really important to me; many times the soundtrack is what really gets to me, rather than the movie itself, but is it really worth the hassle of buying different parts and speakers? Budget is around $1500 (more or less the cost of the HT-F9750W here).

Thank you.
