Samsung hlp-4663w or hlp-4674w? Please help.

I really want to pick up a new DLP TV right after Xmas. I was going to purchase the 4663 before I heard about the new 4674.

I can pick up a 4663 for about $1800. The 4674 is about $1000 more. The question is, Is it worth the extra money? I do not want to make the mistake of purchasing a unit and regretting it shortly after. However, a grand is a grand.

If anybody has some feedback let me know.

The main difference between the two tvs is the DLP chip. the xx74 has the HD2+ chip and the xx63 has the HD3 chip. The HD2+ is the one you want unless you plan to wait (up to a year) for the xHD3 chip tvs to arrive. Initially the xHD3 will only be available in the new 70" Sammy DLP and I don't know when the smaller xHD3 TVs will arrive (I might be able to find out at CES in a few weeks).

Keep us posted on what you see at CES. It would be great to hear the xHD3 chip would come out sooner than later.
