SACD Player Compatibility

I bought a SACD Player, then I plugged it to my Harman Kardon AVR 325 receiver, when I shoose the SACD option, It doesn't work, but It does work when I choose normal Audio CD. Do I have to buy another AVR???

Hopefully it's as simple as this . . .

Did you connect 6 analog audio cables from the player to the receiver? The high resolution portion of the disc will only play using these analog cables and not through a standard digital coaxial or digital optical cable.
