Wow! My seven DVD-Audio albums may be worth more than my server and DVD player combined.

Concur about Night at the Opera and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Everything must Go by Steely Dan and Tommy by the Who are the other two I have that are superior.

Allison Krause and Union Station Live is an excellent live set. Unlike a lot of 5 channel SACDs which surround you with instruments (weird), this one puts you in the 10th row of a live performance. Close your eyes and you're there.

In the classical world, Anthony Newman, Music for Organ Brass and Tympani is a sonic spectacular. Recorded by Sonoma Records, the hi-rez sound is spectacular.

I bought that Alison Krauss and I didn't like it.

There are already 2 or 3 threads on this in the music area, but:

Patricia Barber Cafe Blue SACD
Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon SACD
Beck - Sea Change SACD or DVD-A
Steely Dan Gaucho SACD or DVD-A
LTJ Bukem Panet Earth (techno) DTS-CD (DTS-ES)
The Crystal Method Legion of Boom (tehcno) DTS-CD (DTS-ES)
