Rythmik F15, Dual Epik Empires, or JL F113

Hi everyone,

I realize there are a lot of posts about these subs but I never really hear an honest answer. So I am curious what others would choose if they were in my situation.

I am looking to replace a Klipsch RW12 sub for home theater ONLY. I already have a JL F112 for my music rig and love it. Here are my impressions so far from various reading:

Rythmik - hands down the best for music (but what about HT)
JL - has auto room correction, best fit and finish and build quality
Epik - Last is all categories but might give highest output b/c of 2 vs. 1, best deal for $

Again, I am only looking for HT only and I am leaning towards a used JL but wouldn't be opposed to the other ones if provided with persuasive evidence. Also a side note, I am only looking commercial, I don't have the time, patience, or knowledge to DIY although I commend those who do.

Thanks

Do you have room for the Dual Epiks....?

What is your room size...?

The JL's have ARO, but its not a complete ROOM CORRECTION as you state... Its only a 1 band EQ not the whole subwoofer range correction, if you have a bunch of peaks in your room it will only correct 1, which is why people look to find an outboard EQ.

If you like to listen loud and you want a HT experience the Epik's are most likely going to be the best choice from that list.

Thanks,

My room actually is not that big, probably about 9'x12'. For the most part it's pretty enclosed except a 3' space that you walk into it. I have Paradigm C5 and S2's v2 speakers. I do have space for the dual Epiks (I can have one on each side of the entertainment center in between that and speakers.

So it kinda sounds like Epik would be the best for HT?
