RX-Z9 owner question? Otimization?

Once you have configured and set the YPAO Optimizer, does the front display on your unit say Optimizer once you remove it.

After doing this calibration the front panel on my display reads optimizer even after removing the microphone and restarting the amp. Is this normal or have I not done the YPAO test wrong?

No, it is perfectly normal.
It is just showing that you are using settings from the optimizer setup.

Thank You. I had to ask on this forum, because the yamaha tech support told me it should say (OPTIMIZED) on the front panel, I told him it said optimizer, so he couldn't figure it out. I wasn't satisfied with his meager response.Thank You again.
