RX-V675 no audio signal from HDMI on startup

I'm having an issue with the RX-V675 where when I first turn on the receiver, none of the HDMI inputs sources have an audio signal during playback. The video signal of the Roku Ultra, Blu-ray player and PC plays fine but there is no audio. When I power it off and on again then everything is fine. HDMI Control is Off and Audio HDMI OUT is Off since TV does not support ARC. I don't expect this is something that I can repair on my own but I would like to understand what could be causing this issue. Is there a way to test if it is the HDMI board or some other component? I don't currently use any other input but I guess I could try connecting a device that has component or composite inputs if that would help diagnose. It feels like the receiver needs to "warm up" before the audio works and I'm not sure that makes sense for electronics.

Probably just an hdmi handshake issue. Could be the order you power the units up to an extent (might try the sink, i.e. display, first, then working your way back thru the chain). Is it an issue once you get audio going when switching sources?

I will test turning on devices in a different order but Roku and PC would typically already be on before I turn on the TV or receiver. When there is no audio signal, switching between inputs does not resolve the issue. When the audio signal is back on after cycling, switching between inputs works as expected (ie shows Dolby Digital+ audio for Roku and DTS-HD MA on blu-ray for example) and I no longer have any issues.

I did not have any luck trying to resolve by changing the order of the devices being powered on. My PC is typically on all day so shutting it down or unplugging the HDMI cable just to avoid this issue would be more hassles than having to cycle the receiver on startup. I'm going to reach out to Yamaha but this appears to be a common issue so I no longer think it is something specifically wrong with my receiver. Does someone know if the HDMI sync issues are typically between the input devices and the receiver or between the receiver and the TV? I could try a different cable between the receiver and the TV since I did not select this one, but this would get complicated as it is run inside the wall and I have a full AV cabinet blocking access.
