Ok, maybe its just late or it could be I'm a little slow I need some help connecting my speakers. Have the normal front right, left and center and rear right and left. Wiring is fine. With that configuration are the back speakers - Surround Back Speakers Right and Left or are they Surround Speakers Right and Left? What's the difference?

When I attempt to hook them up as Surround Back Speakers only the right one is found during the audio test. The manual has a note - "when you use a surround back speaker connect the speaker to the left Surround back terminal (single)" However, the diagram shows the speakers being connect to both terminals (left and right)

I do get audio when I connect them to the terminals labeled Surround Speakers Just not sure if its right.

Thanks

what the manual means is when you only have ONE surround back speaker ...

but you say you have 5 speakers, you should connect the surrounds to the "surrounds" and not the "surround back" (the speaker terminals right above the front left and right)

the surround backs are for 6.1 and 7.1 use. if you do have a 5.1 setup, use the "surrounds" speaker terminals

Pg. 15 of the manual lays it out pretty well, and pg. 16 of course are the connections.
