RX-V2500 Front Panel Display Change Help

Whenever I select a different input on the RX-V2500 it shows the name of the selected input on the front panel display for a couple of seconds before reverting to showing the name of the current soundfield. I would rather have the chosen input name showing than soundfield. Is there a way I can change this or cycle through info on the front panel display (I know my previous Sony could so it by pressing DISPLAY) ?
Any help would be great!

Probably not, because it allready says which function you are using (the function has a red border around it, if i am not mistaken), at the top of the display, so you wouldnt really need to change it.

The underlined input is all fair and good if you are right on top of your amp. Sit 5 feet away or more and it becomes a distant pixel!
Its more of an annoyance really. I would much prefer the display to simply say the input selected (remember because you can rename your inputs - I would rather the display say GameCube then say Cbl/Sat).
As stated my previous Sony allowed you to cycle through different displays (Input Name, Soundfield, Input Type etc).
Shame Yamaha dont do this - I assume its to push the Cinema DSP.
