Rotel RSP-1069, RSP-1570 Preamp Question

I'm currently using a Rotel RSX-1056 receiver. I purchased a Parasound Halo A52 amplifier last week and I'm using the preamp in the RSX-1056. The sound is great!
Could I expect a major difference in sound quality if I were to use a pre/pro such as the Rotel RSP-1069 or RSP-1570? I'm more interested in the sound rather than the video side of things.
Thanks.
Rick

Going from the 1056 to the 1069 would not be as big a difference as going to the 1570, as it is their current model, and also does decoding for the new lossless surround formats.

Hi Rick,

You probably will; better internal parts, Dacs, DSP processing, newer high resolution audio codecs (RSP-1570). Major difference, no. Substantial, probably so.

Definitely true. The difference will be noticeable with the 1570... I had a Rotel RSX-1056 and going from that to Arcam AVR350 was a big upgrade. The 1570 has the newer Audio Codecs I believe, so when watching movies on Blu-Ray, the difference will be very large, unless you are already using the Multi-channel inputs on the Rotel.
