Hello and Help,
I am a novice to HT and a musician with an acute ear, but willing to be flexible.
I am in the process of designing a HT in a unfinished basement (20L X 13W X 9H). I have read several articles concerning the acoustics and I have to say this is quite challenging. I am not looking to spend a fortune but would like to create a soundproof / acoustically sound room to enjoy music/movies.
I understand that building a room within a room is probably the best method but it sounds expensive. Any suggestions on methods that have been effective/economical in a room my size.
