Rockstar a No Show at E3, Goodbye GTA V
06/01/2010 Written by Zak Islam

Rockstar, the famed developers behind some of the most memorable games have an upcoming line-up which is nothing short of impressive, with the likes of Max Payne 3 and LA Noire, and not to mention the rumored GTA V. However, all hopes of Rockstar raiding the upcoming E3 expo with their upcoming blockbuster titles have seemingly been crushed.

A Rockstar representative has told VG247 that Rockstar will have no “presence” at E3, which is only a mere few weeks away.

The rep confirmed that the likes of LA Noire and Max Payne 3 will not be shown at the expo, instead they will be shown at a later unconfirmed date.
So it seems that PlayStation 3 exclusive Agent may not get any coverage (however, Sony may show if off) as well as the rumored GTA V announcement not looking likely. Sad times, indeed.

Rockstart canceling GTA V ?? Very unlikely - GTA4 was/is a massive cash cow and GTA series are far from over. San Antonio was in my opinion kind a low point for them, but GTA 4 brought back the former glory and charm which made me spent countless hours in Vice City.

More likely all rumored projects are delayed due to lower budgets....
and It's not like titles like new GTA or Max Payne games needs any additional buzz.

With GTA 4 Rockstar was laughing all the way to the bank, it has sold 15 million copies(as of March 2010) since it's release. We will properly see them make their announcements at the leipzig games convention or at TGS or I could be wrong and they just tell one of the gaming mags.

Maybe they are going to focus on Red Dead? They are apparently planning a lot of DLC for it.

Interesting. GTA:SA was widely considered the best in the series before GTA IV came out.

"in my opinion" - as I mentioned I spent too much time in VC. SA never really grew on me...
