I am looking for some new cables. I am a BB employee, so I get an excellent price on Rocketfish cables, monoprice.com can't touch these prices. Has anyone had positive or negative feedback for these (I'm more interested in the negative)? Anything from anyone would be great. As always thanks for the help.

I tried these out and ended up buying 3 sets because I couldn't hear the difference between a kimber cable and the rocketfish and they are 250 cheaper. I think you can't beat the rocketfish for price and quality. Buy at will Mudrummer.........:)

sorry about taking so long to say thanks, went on vacation and just got back. I just picked up a bunch of them from work today and will be wall mounting and rewiring everything tonight, pictures soon to come.

Sweet can't wait to see um...I am very happy with my rocketfish cables. I also love my monoprice cables. You can't beat any of these for price and performance. I think most on this site would say monoprice and bluejeans cable are the way forward. Overpriced cables are bull#$% you cannot hear the difference between blue jeans cables and a set of 2000 dollar "audiophile" pair. Although many "audiophiles" say different.

I love mine. I picked up some to hook up my amp and a hdmi cable. I like they way they look and arn't too epensive though. You say your a BB employee but check out ebay first for them..... I should have. could have saved 100 bucks:(

No I have never owned a 2000 cable and would never buy anything that ridicules as I would rather spend money on a set of speakers or an amp than waste it on a "2000 audiopile cord. Yes thats right I have done tests with a coat hanger and kimber cable speaker wire and no diffference.

Thanks for the suggestion, but employee accommodations on these cables straight from the store are about $4-5 each, this is well reported around the web so I have no problem putting it here, so I doubt I would be able to do better than that.

There was a poll done around here asking what members systems are worth. IIRC the biggest group fell into the $7500 area. I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this so I'll stop.

Let's talk about a very small group that has $20,000 in gear. 10% of the net value would be in one cable? Of course you need a bunch of them. I would be very reluctant to take advice from such a person.

So far I've noticed exactly one member here that enjoys some more expensive cables and really knows his stuff. I like to think that for the members, this forum is about getting better results while saving money and time.

The real question is "have you ever owned a $2,000 cable?" If so, what did you think?
