Very sad. I didn't even realize he was that sick. Always hoped the Padres would win the World Series while he was there. Played his whole career with the Pads. How many other athletes can say that?

Met him a few times. He was a great guy.

I met him and watched him for years at SDSU and the Pads. His wonderful personality matched his great skills. He'll surely be missed and is a great loss to the world.
