Update to my broken Panasonic:
They had someone come out on Jan 2nd to diagnose what was wrong with it. They also had to find out what part number they needed to order, since I guess the 55 uses a different SD board than the 60 and 65's
They received the part on the 9th and made an appointment to come out today (the 13th). The repair tech just came by and installed the board and it seemed to be working like before (you know, when it had a picture).
So, I'm back in business it appears.
