RIP Gordon Downie

Gordon Downie, lead singer of the Tragically Hip passed away yesterday at the age of 53 from brain cancer. He will be sadly missed. Thank you to you and the band for all the great music over the years.

This is last year , his last concert tour with brain cancer well developed and incureable at this stage.

Saw them live many times. Great performance band, even though they were also great in the studio. Ridiculously popular in Canada, they were well known in the US near southern Ontario (Michigan, New York, etc). Not so much elsewhere in the US, which is a shame.
