rf modulator signal flow question

Hi I know this is going to sound strange but I need to know if there's any way to make a 4 channel rf modulator that is 1 output 4 inputs and convert it to 1 input 4 outputs. I need to reverse the audio signal only video signal wont be necessary for my needs.

What my goal is to transmit the tone off of a vinyl turntable to an input that can be channeled to 4 outputs. I am not trying to splice the signal I want control of where the input signal is going to flow. Input to out on the individual channels as I toggle the channel buttons.

Does anyone know how to mod one of these to do this. I would think this would be achievable as if there is signal flow to one direction there must be a way to reverse it.

Any input or links to where I may guided would be greatly appreciated.

Also let me know if you need me to be more specific of what I am trying to achieve. I know I could get a 4 channel mixer to do this but I already have one all outputs to the inputs of my mixer is from a special external sound card that transmits the signal to the mixer. I am trying to essentially use 1 turntable do work 4 different channels as I toggle it.

I have no idea what you're talking about but I do know that, as you state in your third paragraph, "reversing the signal flow" of a rf modulator is simply not doable.

Amplifiers and modulators aren't necessarily bi-directional, although some are. If so, it would be stated in the description. I have a 4 source modulator that may do this- I'll check tomorrow.

Hi Jayley77,

Please take look on this Encoder RF Modulator it has many inputs like 4 HDMI, YPbPr, CVBS and IP and RF output, you can easily create your own channel lineup. Also you can stream Video over IP

You certainly won't reverse that unit!

Anyhow it is an HDCP certified unit. If you mess with that they will put you in jail and throw away the key.

One might ask the same of your post. This thread is over six years old. Do you have a financial interest in that company?

Simple. In response to your initial revival and treatment of another knowledgeable members input.

And, let's be real. If I were looking to sell an item, posting on a hobby board such as this is a great temptation to get some free publicity.

Add to that that your total participation here is in this thread, and you looked back six years to find an excuse to mention it.

It's almost like you joined for this purpose alone. You wouldn't be the first.

To OP, whom is obviously LONG GONE - all he needed is a simple distribution amp, not anything to do with RF or modulation.

@Mike1967 While MarkW is very knowledgeable, in his senior years - he's grown to be less tolerant of people who waste precious time.

You're highjacking the thread and it's looked down upon on any forums.

Audioholics is Home Theather oriented forum - not car audio nor commercial, therefore if stuff what you're looking for cost arm and a leg - too bunking bad - a) it's not targeted for home users, but for major video producing networks and B) it's cutting edge stuff.

Really? What am I pushing? Certainly not a $2,600 piece of pro gear on a newbie.

You seem to be the one who has researched this enough to come off as the expert.

sorry, guy. I calls 'em like I sees 'em.
