Hello,

I have to take some timing measurements for the subs using REW. (acoustic)
On the setup page, REW calls for a timing reference output.
I think this is the speaker REW uses to take the distance measurement to the sub that makes up the timing.
If this is the case, (I could be wrong) what speaker would give the best timing?
Should the speaker closest to the sub or farthest?
Closest to the mic, or farthest?

Thank you for your time:)

I don't actually know what the REW recommendation is, but when doing manual phase adjustments you usually want to use the nearest primary speaker (in the case of stereo at least). I would think it would be the same in the REW case.

What, if any, room correction are you using?
