Are you saying every time you run Audyssey you get drastically different distance settings for one of your subs?
I use Audyssey and REW as well and found that Audyssey's distance settings are pretty solid and don't really need messed with. I just use REW (edit: with a MiniDSP 2x4 HD) for dialing in the fr with PEQ.

Sorry, but I overlooked that a bass shaker was attached to the y spliter for this sub last week. Ran REW & Audyssey and everything is ok.
