Thnax guys for your help so far, however I am still a bit confused, I am more of a pure hi-fi man and so I don;t have much to do with the world of video.
The outputs on my Toshiba 350 DVD are, HDMI, Scart, Video Out Jack (Yellow), Audio Outs (Red/White), Co-Axial Digital Audio Out and Component Video Out (Y/Pb/Pr).
The inputs on my 15" Toshiba LCD are, Scart, PC Input, S-Video, Video Input (yellow) and audio input (red/white).
So if I connect the audio outs to my Naim Amplifier I will get 2 channel sound, which I am fine with, then can I scart connect the DVD to TV to get the video images? Why would you not use better cables than those provided, I was thinking a £40 van den hul and a £30 QED Scart would give much clearer AV than the cheap ones they provide you with?
Also what is DTS?
