Replacing Stylus

Tomorrow, a replacement stylus for my Ortofon Blue arrives. I guesstimate I have 600+ hours on the original. It still sounds very good. They'll supposedly go 800-1000 hours.

Do you actually track?the hours youve used your stylus? Ive always wondered if anyone does that.

No, it was a guesstimate based on how many LP's I might play per week since I got the O-blue,

It was a lot easier to estimate hours when I used vinyl regularly.....was just toying with the 1000 hours thing and seems thats somewhere north of 1300 full lp plays.....that's quite a while. Why I think I won't need a new cartridge in my remaining lifetime unless I damage it otherwise
