The DSP A1000 was Yamaha's first foray into the world of DSP, it was my first HT amp, a real sweet sounding unit with very good DSP modes, was the only one at that time to feature front effects speakers, as usual, Yamaha has always been ahead of its times over others, it was followed by Yamaha's other formidable unit namely the DSP-A1.
