Replacing a Yamaha RX-V1 with a Yamaha RX-A2020 - Losing back rear channel

My old Yamaha RX-V1 has an output for a back center speaker while the new RX-A2020 does not, instead it has outputs for two surround speakers and for two surround back speakers.
Is this a better setup than having one back center speaker? Should I replace my current back center speaker for two new surround speakers or should I look for a new avr with an output for a back center speaker?
Thanks in advanced

The rx-a2020 can be configured for a single back speaker. If you look closely at the back panel you'll see that under one of the speaker connections for surround back channels there is a label that reads "single." That is for use with one surround back, the auto config will set it all up for you.
