Hey ya'll, I finally set up the Yamaha RX-A1020 while waiting on the return of my Onkyo 89 from the repair center. The first thing I notice was the difference in weight, and I did not have to get my grandson to help the old man slide the Yamaha on the shelf. set up was straight forward and I used the manual speaker configuration. It does not seem as intricate or in depth as the Onkyo but was pretty simple to follow. The sound is different, the Yamaha is a little laid back with a hint of brightness and the Onkyo was a bit more bold and up in your face with it's sound. It may mean that I must tweak the Yamaha a little more. I don't want to give up on it yet as I kind of like the sound.
